Footprint Handbook

Our Footprint is a unique lodge-based recognition program which allows us to promote our Lodge to all who are involved in Scouting. All brothers within Bigfoot Lodge are expected to wear and promote their Footprint with pride. The Footprint began with a vision. Brothers in our Lodge do amazing tasks within Scouting and within our Lodge. There was a need to create a standardized recognition program to outwardly recognize and document the “footprint” each of us makes on Scouting. The Footprint was created to promote and strengthen our Lodge, and to have an impact on our summer camp programs. We created this program to help promote and recognize the individual tasks and roles of ceremony teams, and the brothers behind the scenes. This program will enhance our ceremonies and create new positions for more brothers to get involved. The Footprint is a special symbol with specific beads supporting specific tasks, honors, and awards in Bigfoot Lodge. The Footprint will be, at all times, kept specific, and simple.
